List of Attorneys

In order to provide American citizens with a reference of attorneys within the Nogales Consular District, the Consulate has prepared the following Attorneys List.

The Consulate, however, does not endorse any particular attorney.  The Consulate does not assume any responsibility for the professional ability or integrity of the attorneys in the list.  All information, including the ability to speak English was supplied by each attorney.  Keep in mind that fees may vary greatly depending on the attorney selected and type of service provided.  The Consulate does not assume any financial responsibility for services rendered, all legal expenses will rest on the U.S. citizen.

Mexican law provides that a public defender be available at no charge for those who cannot afford or who choose not to retain a private attorney.

In Mexico, the title Licenciado (abbreviated Lic.) is used to indicate an attorney is licensed to practice law.  The terms Despacho and Bufete refer to a law office or firm.
